Aretha Franklin Say A Little Prayer

Each day when I wake up, I thank the Lord above for blessing me with all his love. With everything I’ve been blessed with, I can’t complain. But then there’s times when I’m down and out, when life presents it’s challenges, when friends turn away. That’s when I realize that the only one whose there for me is God he always will be there for me.

Each day when I wake up

Each day when I wake up

I thank the Lord above

For blessing me with all his love

With everything I’ve been blessed with,

I can’t complain but then there’s times when I’m down and out. Let me count the ways…

I thank the Lord above

“I thank the Lord above for the things he’s done for me,” she sings in her most familiar voice, “I’m glad I came through. And I want to thank him for bringing us together, because if it wasn’t for God, we wouldn’t be here today.”

…But it isn’t just about thanking God; Franklin also asks Him to help others. She sings that she wants God to help her friends who are sick and suffering…and maybe even those who have passed away.

“Thank you Jesus for being my friend,” she sings with meaning, “And being there when I need you most.”

For blessing me with all his love

God’s love is unconditional. He loves you because His nature is to love, not because of anything that you have done or will do. That’s what makes God’s love everlasting; it is eternal and never-ending, regardless of whether or not you come back to Him someday.

God’s love is also everlasting because it has always been there, even before time began. When God looked at His creation in the beginning (Genesis 1:2), He saw that it was good (v3) and then decided to make things even better by creating man in His image (v26). At this point, Adam and Eve were created with a perfect relationship with each other (Genesis 2:18-25) and with God Himself (Genesis 3:8-10). But when sin entered into their lives through Adam’s disobedience against God’s commandment not eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good & Evil, everything changed for them—and us! Due To Original Sin We Fall Short Of Living A Life In Harmony With The Will Of Our Creator Which Is Known As “Original Sin” Or Mortal Sin In Catholic Teaching .

With everything I’ve been blessed with

“With everything I’ve been blessed with,

I have a lot to be thankful for.

I think about this all the time.”

I can’t complain

The song starts with the line, “I can’t complain,” and it’s a mantra that Aretha Franklin has lived by.

In this video, you see her in an old studio with a piano behind her. She begins to perform “Say A Little Prayer For You,” which was released in 1967 on Columbia Records and became one of her signature songs.

In this video, she doesn’t just sing; she also talks about how grateful she is for everything that has happened in her life so far. She says things like “I’m thankful for all my blessings” and “I’m thankful for all the love I’ve received.”

The most important thing about this clip is how much appreciation Aretha Franklin shows towards other people who have helped her along the way—her friends and family members who made sacrifices so she could pursue her dreams as well as strangers who gave advice when they didn’t even know it would impact someone else’s life (such as when someone told Aretha about Esther Phillips’ music).

But then there’s times when I’m down and out

Aretha Louise Franklin was born on March 25, 1942, in Memphis, Tennessee. She is a singer, songwriter and pianist known as the Queen of Soul for her gospel-rooted singing style. Franklin began her career as a child singing gospel at New Bethel Baptist Church in Detroit with her family while also performing at various churches around the area throughout her childhood years.

She launched her professional career in 1960 after signing with Columbia Records and released several hit singles such as “Respect” and “Think.” She has starred in films such as Blues Brothers 2000 (1998) and Blues Brothers Band Live! (1992). In 1987 she won Album of The Year for Who’s Zoomin’ Who? which was nominated for Record of The Year but lost to Whitney Houston’s “Saving All My Love For You.”

When life presents it’s challenges, when friends turn away

When life presents it’s challenges, when friends turn away

And you find yourself alone, with a broken heart and despair in your eyes

And you feel like all hope is gone, say a little prayer for me.

When the world seems like an empty place where we have to face our trials on our own

And nothing that we do makes any sense at all, say a little prayer for me!

That’s when I realize that the only one whose there for me is God he always will be there for me.

The song is about the singer’s journey through life and how she feels like she has no one to turn to, but God. God will always be there for you, even when you don’t believe in him or her; he or she will always be there waiting patiently until you come to your senses and realize that they are what makes you human.

When I listen to this now, I think back on my own life and who was there for me during all the tough times? Who is still here now? It’s hard not having anyone around when things get rough; however it does get better eventually.

Is there someone you’re struggling with right now? Is there something that’s holding you back from truly achieving your goals? Well, if so then I have one simple request for you: say a little prayer. You see, when I’m going through times like these it always helps me to remember how much God loves me and how he will always be there for me no matter what happens. He will never let me down!
