Bible Verses About God Being In Control

God is in control of all things. In the Bible, we see many instances of God’s sovereignty over all creation. This includes each and every human being, because we were created to be in a loving relationship with our creator. The following verses show how God is always at work—even when it may not seem like it!

Genesis 28:15

In Genesis 28:15, God tells Jacob that He will be with him wherever he goes. This is another reminder that no matter what happens, two things are certain: God is in control and He has a plan for your life. You can trust Him to take care of you and lead you down the path that is best for you!

Matthew 19:26

Here, Jesus is saying that God alone is the one who decides who will be saved and who will be lost. The Lord’s sovereignty over salvation, however, does not mean that we can do nothing to earn our salvation. In fact, it means exactly the opposite: because God has chosen to save us through His grace and not based on anything we have or haven’t done, we are called to respond with obedience.

We see this idea of divine predestination throughout Scripture—the Old Testament prophet Isaiah wrote “But now thus says our God who created you ‘I am going to create a new heaven and a new earth.’ Therefore be attentive and listen up while I tell you what I am going to do next.” (Isaiah 65:17)

Psalm 33:11

God is in control of all things.

He gives us hope and strength.

He is the one who enlivens our spirits, and he guides us through life by his wisdom.

Proverbs 21:1

In Proverbs 21:1, the Bible tells us that “a man’s heart deviseth his way; but the LORD directeth his steps.” In this verse, we see that God knows what we will do before we even do it. He is so powerful that he can look into someone’s mind and know what their plans are for tomorrow.

God knows everything about our future plans because he created us and everything else in this universe. He knows how every atom in our bodies moves around and interacts with others at any given moment. There is no way for us to get away from him or hide from his eyesight!

Romans 8:28

God is in control, and He always has your best interest in mind. He will never leave you or forsake you. Remember that He is good and love, and ask Him to help you trust Him no matter what.

God is your creator, so it’s important to understand that He knows exactly what He’s doing when it comes to His creation—including you!

Isaiah 46:10-11

In Isaiah 46:10-11, we read, “Declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things that are not yet done. Saying: My purpose will be established and I will make all my plans succeed.”

This means that God is in control of everything – our past, present, future and even our circumstances.

Proverbs 16:9

You may think you’re smart, but God’s wisdom is greater than man’s wisdom. You may think your thoughts are deep and profound, but God’s thoughts are higher than our thoughts. And when it comes to actions, your way may be right in your eyes, but God’s ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8).

God has the answer for every question you have—even those that don’t make sense to you right now. Don’t worry about finding answers or having a plan; just trust Him!

Psalm 139

Psalm 139:7-10

Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

Matthew 10:29-31

Matthew 10:29-31 says, “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”

God is in control of all things. In these verses, He tells us that He watches over and cares for us so much that nothing can happen outside His care and control, including our every breath and every single hair on our heads! Trusting Him to take care of us doesn’t mean being passive or feeling like we don’t have any power over circumstances in our lives; rather it means knowing that God is sovereignly working out His plan in this world, no matter what happens around us or inside of us.

We need to trust God not only with our personal safety but also with provision for our needs as well—and if we’re faithful about doing good works according to His will (see Matthew 25:34), then He promises that He’ll use each one of those good works toward His purpose as well (see Ephesians 2:10).

God is in control of all things.

When you’re struggling with something or have a problem, just remember that God is in control of all things. He is sovereign, the creator of all things, and ruler of the universe and earth.

When you feel like giving up on life because things aren’t going your way or someone else has taken advantage of you or hurt your feelings, remember that God promises to take care of us and provide for us. He will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). Remember that he loves you more than anyone else ever could!
