Church Of The City God Turn It Around
God is calling you to be a part of His Church. The God of the universe has a plan for your life. He wants you to be a part of His family and help Him bring about His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. You can do this by loving others and living out your faith in everyday life. Take some time today and look into what it means to belong to God’s Church.
God has a place for you in His Church.
God has a place for you in His Church. The Church is not a building, nor is it a group of people who decide what they want to do on Sunday mornings and then expect others to follow. The Church is God’s people—those who have been born again by the power of the Holy Spirit into God’s family, those who have been forgiven of their sins and cleansed from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We are saved through faith in Christ Jesus alone (Ephesians 2:8) but we are saved for ministry! We have been given gifts by the Holy Spirit to build up His body through worship and service (1 Corinthians 12:4–7). God has called each one of us into His Kingdom work as part-time laborers with unique skillsets (Matthew 25:14–30). We must never forget that our identity comes from what Christ has done for us rather than what we do for Him!
In God’s Church, your lost are found even if they are found at the bottom of the sea.
In God’s Church, your lost are found even if they are at the bottom of the sea.
God is a God of miracles and of great wonders. He can do anything, including find people who are lost or missing. This includes those who have gone to live in another country, have been taken as captives by an enemy army, have become completely isolated from their family and friends due to circumstances beyond their control (for example: being stranded in a desert), or even when they are at the bottom of the sea!
In the Church, you will find the new man God is trying to make you.
You will find the new man God is trying to make you.
In the Church, you will find a place where you can be yourself. You won’t be judged for being different or unique, but rather celebrated for who God created you to be. In this place, people come from all walks of life and backgrounds; no matter what your story is, it won’t change how others see you or treat you because everyone knows that we are all made in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:26).
In the Church, people will not only accept who they are but love them too. It’s not just a place where we give each other advice on how to improve ourselves spiritually; it’s also an arena where each person gets to practice loving one another instead of pointing out their flaws or shortcomings (1 Corinthians 13). That doesn’t mean we don’t have our own issues from time-to-time though—it just means we recognize these problems exist within each other’s hearts as well as ours so when something does come up between two members of our group there needs to be forgiveness given first before any solutions can begin! This way there isn’t any negative energy coming into our community which could affect its future growth!
We like to know that God is with us.
We like to know that God is with us. When we are in the church, we can see Him; when we are out of the church, He is still there. In fact, He is always there.
One time when I was working at my job, I felt lonely and afraid because I didn’t understand why things were happening in my life. When I prayed about it, God gave me an answer: “Trust Me.” As soon as I had this thought about trusting Him, everything got better! The fear went away and peace filled my heart instead!
Great things happen when God is involved.
Great things happen when God is involved.
He is involved in everything that happens in the world, and He’s even more involved in what happens to you as a follower of Christ.
In every church, there are many people who have been blessed by God’s involvement in their lives. These people have felt His presence and His love through the Church. In turn, they want to serve others through serving God’s Church; this kind of service will spread over time to help others see the relevance of Christianity in their lives too!
The Church would not be the same without her people.
The Church would not be the same without her people. The Church is not a building, it is the community of believers who gather together to worship God and study His Word. They are also known as the body of Christ and the bride of Christ.
Turn around and face the Church.
- It’s the place where you can find answers.
- It’s the place where you can find community.
- It’s the place where you can find peace.
- It’s the place where you can find God.
- It’s the place where you can find love (and not just from your parishioners).
The Church is here to help you in your journey with God. To be a part of this Church, you only have to ask Jesus into your heart. He knows who you are and what you need. If you don’t know how to pray or think that asking for forgiveness is too hard for someone like yourself, then just ask Him anyway because He will guide you along the way!
