Friday Morning Blessings And Prayers

I am thankful for this new day, even though I know that there may be trouble ahead. I have been delivered from many troubles just by having faith in you, O LORD. I know that your word is true and that you will never fail me because only YOU can help me through each day as it comes and goes. Help me today to walk away from temptation and keep my heart pure because only YOU have the power to do these things for me. Amen!

I worship you because you are God and there is no one like you.

God, you are the God of the universe. You are the God of our salvation, creation and redemption. You are also the God of our sanctification and deliverance. Finally, you are the God of our blessings and strength.

I worship you because you are good in every way!

Deliver us from the evils that surround us, we pray.

Deliver us from the evils that surround us, we pray.

Deliver us from temptation and all its subtle temptations.

Deliver us from sin and its many disguises.

Deliver us from the evil one, who roams about like a lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8).

As you give me my daily bread, reinvigorate me to face this day by faith in your provision.

As you give me my daily bread, reinvigorate me to face this day by faith in your provision.

The Lord is our Provider and He will provide for our needs today. As we trust Him and believe in His promises, He will grant us strength to overcome all obstacles that may come our way. I thank You for providing for my needs as well as those of my family members, friends and co-workers who are facing hardships at this time. In Jesus’ name, amen!

Your mercy endures forever and no matter what I face today, your mercy will still be available.

[Prayer](https://www.biblegateway.com/verse/en-us/Jeremiah 31:3)

“The Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore, with lovingkindness I have drawn you.”

God’s mercy is greater than our sin, no matter how bad it is or what we have done, his mercy is available to us. His mercy is not based on our actions or behavior but rather on who he is and who we are in Christ Jesus!

Help me to walk away from temptation and protect my heart from evil.

In this prayer, we are asking for the strength to face temptation and overcome it. We are asking for protection from evil so that we may not fall prey to temptation in the first place. This prayer is also a reminder that temptation is part of life; it’s not something to be avoided at all costs, but rather an opportunity for us to grow closer to God and strengthen our character through overcoming it.

Temptation isn’t always easy to recognize or distinguish from other things—and sometimes what we perceive as a test might actually be one! Nevertheless, having knowledge of the signs can help you decide if you’re facing temptation or just another day in your normal life.

The works of your hands is awesome, O Lord, may I never forget this fact as I start out this day.

The works of your hands are awesome, O Lord, may I never forget this fact as I start out this day. Your works are good, for they reflect the light of your wisdom and grace. They are beautiful because you have made them to reflect your own beauty in a poignant way that brings joy to those who behold it. They are powerful because you have created them with such skill and delicacy that all things stand firm under his hand.

Your creations show forth your power through so many different ways: from the smallest seedling sprouting from the ground to a mighty river coursing through its course; from the tiniest speck of dust floating in space to an enormous galaxy forming billions upon billions of miles away; from one grain of sand on a beach to an entire continent made up entirely by these tiny particles—and yet each one has been formed by these same elements being combined together under divine guidance into something far greater than just their individual parts alone could ever accomplish on their own!

The world is full of wonders like these but we often take them for granted until they wither away or fall apart due to neglect (see Psalm 103). Yet no matter how much we forget how much God cares about us or our surroundings around us here on earth there is still hope for renewal when we turn our hearts back towards Him instead.”

My trust is not in myself or in any person but in YOU, O LORD.

  • God, I trust in You.
  • Your word is my anchor and Your promises are my refuge.
  • You love me with a love that is beyond human understanding and I trust in it above all else that this world has to offer.
  • Your power is greater than anything else on earth and I rest safely within the shelter of your mighty hand.
  • Goodness flows out of your heart like an overflowing river, nourishing every living thing under the sun with its life-giving waters – including me! So when I am tempted to trust in myself or any person, I remember that goodness flows out from You alone!

God’s word can be trusted because it is true and with Him, there is no falsehood.

God’s word is true and trustworthy because it is God Himself who has spoken. He is the only One who can speak the truth. With Him, there is no falsehood! So, when you read your Bible or listen to a sermon at church, you can trust what you hear because it comes from God. To know His word better each day and to understand more fully His plan for your life and the lives of those around you, remember these things:

I shall not fall into the hands of the enemy this day because I am hidden in Christ and He has surrounded me with His protection.

The Lord has told us that He will protect us from the enemy. He has commanded us to pray for protection and to set up spiritual barriers around our homes and persons, which only He can do.

He says: “My people shall be called by a new name, which shall be blessed upon the earth; and they shall be a blessing” (Isaiah 65:15).

This means that when you call on God for His protection, no weapon formed against you can prosper. As long as Christ surrounds you with His fiery presence, you are unassailable!

The Light of the world (Christ) will lead me today and guide my path in all I do today. There shall be no darkness at noon on my path because His light has taken over my life completely.

Christ is the light of the world. He is our hope and our future. When you live your life according to what Christ wants you to do, then He will guide and direct your path in all that you do today. There shall be no darkness at noon on my path because His light has taken over my life completely.

Help me always do what is right before you always for the sake of your name.

  • Thank you for always doing what is right before you always, Lord.
  • Thank you for always doing what is right before me, Lord.
  • Thank you for always doing what is right before everyone else around me, Lord.
  • Help me to remember that my actions can have a profound impact on Your reputation and Your name!

It’s only by Your grace that I am alive today to see this new morning so help me Lord to live my life for your glory always from today henceforth.

Grace is God’s unmerited favor. Grace means that we receive from the Lord, not because of anything that we have done or will ever do, but rather because His love for us is so great. It’s only by Your grace that I am alive today to see this new morning so help me Lord to live my life for your glory always from today henceforth.

Grace is not just a concept or idea but it is something real and tangible like air, water and light which sustains life on earth. The grace of God has been given free-of-charge to people who believe in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior (John 3:16).

It is only by the grace of God that I am alive today to see this new morning so help me Lord to live my life for your glory always from today henceforth
