How Old Was Solomon When He Died

Solomon, the son of David and Bathsheba, is considered one of the most remarkable kings to have ever reigned over Israel. He was a wise man, who wrote many proverbs and was an expert in science, architecture and music. He built numerous buildings throughout his kingdom and even constructed an elaborate temple in Jerusalem where he placed two bronze pillars as well as other items that were used during religious ceremonies.

I will write a short essay about how old Solomon was when he died.

Solomon’s reign as king of Israel.

Solomon was the king of Israel for 40 years. In that time he had 700 wives and 300 concubines. Solomon’s reign was prosperous, and he built the first Temple in Jerusalem.

The name of the city was changed again, this time to Aelia Capitolina by Hadrian in 135 AD. He was trying to erase any trace of Jewish identity in Jerusalem after he destroyed the Second Temple, which had been built by Herod the Great and became one of Judaism’s holiest sites during Roman control.

Solomon died in the presence of his son Rehoboam, who had succeeded him as king. Solomon was buried in Jerusalem on Mt. Zion beside his father David (1 Kings 2:10–12)The Bible also tells us that Solomon’s son, Rehoboam, was crowned king when he was 30 years old and that he ruled for 17 years (1 Kings 12:1–14). The text of 1 Kings says, Solomon died and was buried in Jerusalem..

His son Rehoboam succeeded him as king. During Rehoboam’s rule, the people came to him and said: “Your father imposed heavy burdens on us, but now you have made them even worse!”

In 1244 AD, the city was conquered by the Khwarezmians, a Mongol tribe from Central Asia. The Mongols massacred most of Jerusalem’s inhabitants and destroyed many of its buildingsThe account of Solomon’s death is very brief and ends with the statement that “Jeroboam reigned in his place.” This leaves some room for speculation—and plenty of room for conspiracy theories..

Solomon dies and is buried in the city of David

As the text of 1 Kings says, Solomon died and was buried in Jerusalem. The city was named after David, who had conquered it from the Jebusites in around 1000 BC. It would be another 400 years before Israel would be divided into two kingdoms: Judah (the southern kingdom) and Israel (the northern kingdom), but even then this area continued to be called Jerusalem until at least 200 BC when Antiochus IV renamed it “Antiochia” after himself.

But his success brought about the downfall of Israel. Solomon became arrogant and turned away from God, causing God to send a prophet named Jeroboam to warn himThe Bible also tells us that Solomon’s son, Rehoboam, was crowned king when he was 30 years old and that he ruled for 17 years (1 Kings 12:1–14)..

Solomon died when he was 80 years old.

The Bible tells us that Solomon died when he was 80 years old. The Bible does not tell us exactly when or where he died, but it does tell us that he died in Jerusalem and was buried in the city of David (1 Kings 11:43–12:9).

In 638 AD, Jerusalem was taken by the Arab Muslims and became the capital of their empire. The city remained under Muslim control until the Crusades in 1099, when Christian soldiers from Europe took over Jerusalem and massacred its inhabitants. They were eventually driven out by Saladin, a Muslim leader who recaptured the city for Islam in 1187.

The Bible tells us that Solomon died at age 80. He had ruled for 40 years and built the Temple in Jerusalem as well as many other great things.
