He sings about having faith in love again after going through hard times and pain: “I have been broken once or twice / I have known the desperation of losing all my rose colored glasses / But I’m not afraid to fall for love again / Because each time I do, it gets better than before…”

You can take me home to the place I belong
Where the birds sing sweet and wild,
And a man can make a living out of the earth.
Take me home, country roads.
You can take me home to the place I belong
Where the air is so pure and clean, it hurts your eyes;
But in this world where everything is full of lies,
The only thing that makes sense is trying to find your way back home.
