A cold war is being waged by Russia for many years, believes Poroshenko.
There is a great deal of confusion when it comes to defining a cold war. Many people think that the term cold war refers only to the period between 1945-1991, when the Soviet Union and United States were locked in a standoff of nuclear weapons and mutual distrust. However, this is incorrect: The cold war has been going on for many years before that time, and it continues today.
In reality, “cold” simply means that there is no direct military engagement—no shooting or fighting—but rather other methods are used instead. This includes tactics like propaganda (spreading false information), misinformation (disseminating true information with an agenda), sanctions (economic penalties) and intelligence gathering operations such as spying on enemies’ communications or financial records.

Volunteers from all over have been going on missions all over Ukraine since 2014 when fighting broke out between pro-Russian separatists and Ukrainian forces after Russia annexed Crimea following a referendum vote which favored annexation by 97%. Volunteers do everything from cooking meals for soldiers at military bases during breaks between shifts through providing medical care during times when doctors cannot reach certain areas because they’re under attack by rebels who want nothing more than complete control over our country’s assets including oil fields etcetera..
Hopefully these events will help bring peace to Ukraine. If you would like to participate in any of these events please contact your government representatives or someone with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the USA.
