Galatians 3:11 Bible Study -The Just Shall Live By Faith – The Just Shall Live By Faith

Habakkuk 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

The just shall live by faith. In this verse, we have clear proof that David was not a man after God’s own heart. He had great talent and ability, but he did not display the virtues of true faithfulness.

But the just shall live by faith. This verse tells us that under certain circumstances, our strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We can prevail only through Christ’s power in us; there is no other way! If we’re faithful to God’s Word and submit ourselves completely to His will—even when it seems like death is all around us—then we will live forever!

What Is Faith?

Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. When we believe in God, we trust that He has a plan for our lives and that He will use us to accomplish His purposes. Faith is therefore an act of confidence and trust in God based on what he has said about Himself and his promise to bless those who choose to follow Him (Hebrews 11:1).

Faith doesn’t require physical evidence or scientific proof before it can be accepted as true. Instead, faith simply recognizes that something exists beyond what we see with our eyes or know through human wisdom alone; therefore, it requires us to go beyond our natural abilities (Romans 10:17). Faith is a decision by which you decide to trust what you cannot see because you believe God’s Word is true (Hebrews 11:6).

It should be noted here that just because something isn’t visible doesn’t mean it’s not real; instead, it means there are things going on behind closed doors—or in this case—behind closed eyelids when we sleep! It also means there are spiritual forces at work all around us every day!

Habakkuk 2:4 Parallel Verses.

Habakkuk 2:4

“Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.”

Romans 1:17 (NIV)

“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

She said, “Just listen to me for a minute and I’ll tell you everything.” So he said, “Go ahead.”

You can try to talk her out of it, but she’ll just ignore you. The time for talking is over. Now it’s time for action.

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

This is the word of the Lord to you, my friend: “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”

God’s promise to you is not a wish or desire; He has already made sure His promises will come true in your life. There is no room for doubt about this fact! The Bible says, “I am persuaded that neither death nor life…will be able to separate us from the love of God.” (Romans 8:38–39) If you have faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and believe what is written within this book (the Bible), then you too can know with certainty that God has promised you eternal security just as He promised me when I surrendered my life to Him over 50 years ago!

As we have seen, faith is not a matter of believing in the existence of God (for no one doubts this) but rather in His power, wisdom and goodness. Faith is trust in God’s mercy to do what He has promised. It sees no reason why God should not keep His promises, even though they may seem difficult or unreasonable; it rests assured that He will do so because He is good, wise and powerful.

Faith is a powerful thing, and it’s something that everyone should be able to draw from. It can help you find your purpose in life, make better choices, and even improve your relationships with others. But before we get into any of that, let’s start with some definitions:

  • Faith is an inner conviction or belief in the truth of something without tangible proof or knowledge about it. In other words, faith doesn’t rely on facts (like evidence), but rather comes from within ourselves. It gives us hope for tomorrow despite what happened yesterday—and beyond!
  • Faith is more than just believing God exists; it means believing in His promises too (even when they don’t seem real). When faced with difficult circumstances like disease or death, we must trust God’s Word as a source of comfort…not ours! We may not understand why bad things happen to good people sometimes – but this doesn’t mean our trust should waiver because of it either! Our faith should always remain strong despite any circumstance because He has promised never to leave us nor forsake us no matter what happens today tomorrow next week or years down the road.”
