This Is The Day That The Lord Has Made Kjv

This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!

Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold (3), frankincense and myrrh.

But when it was day ye could not discern the star because of its radiation; no one made a decision regarding it until an angel came down out of heaven saying “I am Gabriel! I bear greetings from God who created you to a special people: he has sent me so that I can give birth unto your son”. Then she gave birth to her son after nine months because she believed what she heard from Gabriel.

Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

The wise men, who were from the east, followed the star to Bethlehem and found Jesus. They worshipped him because God had told them that Jesus was born to be King of the Jews. This is one of many examples of how the Bible is full of stories that show us how God wants us to live our lives today.

When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

In the story of Jesus and the Wise Men, we see that Herod was troubled by their arrival.

Herod was troubled because they had come to Jerusalem to worship Jesus. He was troubled because they saw the star in the east and followed it until they found him. The wise men were from different countries and cultures, but they all worshipped Jesus as God’s Son – one who would be a king forever and ever!

And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.

Herod, the king of Judea (the region around Bethlehem), asked the people where Christ would be born. The wise men from the east had told him that a new king would be born in Judea, and Herod feared that this baby would take his throne away. So he asked the people of Bethlehem where Jesus should be born so he could kill him as soon as He was born. The people answered: “In Bethlehem.” Then Herod sent some soldiers to go with them there and find out exactly where Jesus was born and bring Him back to Jerusalem so that Herod could kill Him when He got older.

When they found Jesus, they brought Him back to Jerusalem where they gave Him gifts and tried to make His family happy with all their money!

And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judea: for thus it is written by the prophet,

And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, And thou Bethlehem, land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

Bethlehem is a town in the West Bank, located southwest of Jerusalem. It’s also the birthplace of Jesus Christ, who came to be known as “the Prince of Peace.” This passage speaks about Bethlehem as the least among princes, and foretells that it will produce a governor who will rule over Israel.

Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.

The story begins with a king, Herod the Great. He was not a good king and was known for his cruelty and greed. He ruled over the region of Israel, which is also called Judaea or Bethlehem.

Herod summoned all the astrologers to him who were in Jerusalem at that time, so that he might know from them when this star appeared; for it seemed to him with regard to its appearing as if it was going to be something important concerning himself personally: and they said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea; for thus has been written concerning this star,” and they read in the book of Daniel (2:10-12).

And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.

The Bible tells us that Jesus is the savior of the world and that he came to earth to save us from our sins. It also says that Jesus is God’s son, who was born in Bethlehem.

The Bible says: “And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, frankincense and myrrh.” (Matthew 2:11)

Jesus was born during both King Herod’s reign (the first or second king) or during Herod the Great’s reign (the third king).

God is good always

God is good always:

  • God is good when I am in a bad situation.
  • God is good when things go wrong in my life.
  • God is good when I can’t do anything right, and everyone else seems to be doing better than me!

God is good, always.
