This is the day that the lord has made

Let us exalt him, and rejoice in him. Let us praise the Lord with music and song; let us extol him with harps and lyres! For the Lord is a great God,
and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. The sea is his, for he made it; and his hands formed the dry land.
The Lord brings forth food from the earth; he provides for everyone who delights in him. The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love. By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; all their host by the breath of his mouth. He gathers up the waters of the sea like a mound; he puts down deeps in the seas.
The Lord’s great power is displayed in the storm; he rules by his might forever. The Lord is great in strength of mind, and even those who oppose him will be terrified of him. For he performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, making things that are impossible come to pass.
The Lord is faithful in all his words and kind in all his deeds. He is near to those who call on him, to all who call on him faithfully.
So if we can take anything away from this text it is that the day of creation was so perfect and awesome because it was in God’s hands. We should all celebrate the fact that our lives are made up of a 24-hour day and every moment is a gift from above!
