Trust In God Verses In The Bible

No matter what you’re going through, God is with you. He has proven time and time again that He has our back. I have seen Him move in my life and the lives of many others around me. If you are seeking peace in your life, then it may be time to take a deep breath and trust that God will give it to you if only you ask for it!

1. Jeremiah 17:7

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord.”

― Jeremiah 17:7

The term “trust” can be defined as having confidence in another person or thing, and this verse encourages us to put our faith in God. It’s a way of saying we believe He will help us when times get tough and we need His guidance most.

2. Psalm 34:8

“Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” – Psalm 34:8-9

This verse is a call to trust God with your life and not worry about everything that happens around you. The main point here is that if you put your trust in God and follow his commands, then everything will turn out alright at some point in time because he promises to take care of us if we do what’s right.

3. Proverbs 3:5-6

God is a guarantor of your future. He will provide for you in every season of life, and he will protect you from those who would seek to harm you. Trust in him, and trust in his goodness so that you may have an enduring hope that cannot be taken away by anything or anyone else but him.

Bible verses about trusting God: Proverbs 3:5-6

4. Philippians 4:19

Trust in God

Philippians 4:19 says, “And my God will supply all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”

Paul indicates that our provision comes from God and not from man. If we trust in ourselves, our own wisdom, or other people to provide for us, then we will never be satisfied—God must be the source of everything that we have. The Bible tells us that God is able to supply all of our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). He is not limited by how much money or resources He has; instead, He has an unlimited amount of glory which is available for those who ask Him (John 14:13).

5. Proverbs 3:1-2

  • “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5 (NIV)
  • “The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from comb.” Psalm 19:9-10 (ESV)
  • “But let him ask in faith, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and tossed. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man [who] unstable in all his ways.” James 1:6-8 (ESV)

6. Romans 15:13

Romans 15:13 says, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

God is faithful. God will never leave or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). God is our source of peace (Philippians 4:7-9); He gives us hope (Romans 15:13), love (1 John 4:16), mercy (Ephesians 2:4-5) and grace (Ephesians 1:7; 2 Corinthians 8:9). God is truth!

7. Joshua 1:6-9

I am with you, and I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I am the LORD.

But be strong and of good courage; for unto this people shall ye divide for an inheritance the land, which I swear unto their fathers to give them. And be ye very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses unto whom it was spoken by me with an outstretched arm, that thou mayest know how that Jehovah thy God commanded thee; lest thou shouldest turn aside from any of all those things which Jehovah thy God commandeth thee this day, to stray after other gods whom they call on besides me. And if ye go after other gods who call not on my name (for he who speaketh lies shall not stand before my face), then shall ye perish quickly from off this good land whereinto Jehovah thy God hath brought thee.

8. Romans 8:28

Trust in God and his promises. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” -Romans 8:28

God is the giver of all good things, including strength, peace and victory. He will never leave or forsake us, so it’s important to trust and lean on Him when we’re facing a difficult situation or trial.

9. Galatians 5:22-23

Galatians 5:22-23, New International Version (NIV)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

10. James 1:2-4

The Bible is clear that God is good, merciful and faithful. In the first four verses of 1st Peter, it says “He [God] has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” This tells us that if you are saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ then you can have a living hope because we have been given eternal life in heaven with him. As believers we should rejoice because our status as children of God means that we will never be separated from Him again!

We also know how just and righteous He is based on His Word which is given only to those who believe in Him for salvation (Revelation 21:7). There are many other attributes such as kind and patient but these three main ones cover most scenarios where someone would accuse others wrongly without knowing what happened or why things occurred differently than planned.”
