What Does The Bible Say About Zombies

If you’ve ever read the Bible, then you may have heard about zombies. Zombies are used as an example of something that has no life and is considered dead. However, some believe that there’s more to the zombie story than just a metaphor. In this article, we’ll explore whether or not the Bible mentions zombies in any way shape or form!

Does The Bible Allude To Zombies?

The Bible doesn’t mention zombies, but it does allude to the concept of the undead. This is a common theme in Biblical literature and can be found throughout both Old and New Testaments. The Bible is filled with metaphors and allegories, so it would not surprise me if there were additional references to zombies that we’re just unaware of at this time.

When you read the Bible it should be done with an understanding that The Apostle Paul says that all scripture is a transferable allegory, symbolic message of meaning and significance. You will find nothing in the Bible in a literal sense but only as a metaphor for spiritual truths.

When you read the Bible, it should be done with an understanding that The Apostle Paul says that all scripture is a transferable allegory, symbolic message of meaning and significance. You will find nothing in the Bible in a literal sense but only as a metaphor for spiritual truths. The Bible was written by many people over many years. It is not a single book but rather is a collection of books called scriptures or scripture.

1 Corinthians 10:1-13

The Bible teaches that sin entered the world when Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden. The story is about sin and death entering the world, not about physical people eating of a tree. So what about zombies?

Zombies are not mentioned in scripture because they did not exist at that time. There are scriptures that talk about undead humans, but they are referring back to death being called “sleep” in Genesis 2:7 where it says “…and man became a living soul (NIV).”

When death came into our lives through sin, we died spiritually as well as physically by defaulting on our covenant with God (Romans 3:23; John 5:28-29). When people die physically now—whether naturally or unnaturally—their spirit goes straight to heaven or hell depending on their relationship with Christ during their lifetime (II Corinthians 5:8). This is why there aren’t any zombie verses!

For example, look at the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The story is about sin and death entering the world, not about physical people eating of a tree . . . .

In other words, we are all physical beings who have spiritual needs that need to be met. These needs include being with God and having fellowship with Him (Genesis 3:8). This means we must trust in Jesus as our Savior because only He can provide this relationship with God on earth (John 14:6).

What About The Undead?

What’s the big deal about zombies? They’re not real. We know that. But what does the Bible say about zombies?

What does the Bible say about the undead?

First, let’s look at what it says about the dead in general. The dead are expected to rise again and be judged (John 5:28-29). This will happen on judgment day, when Jesus returns (Revelation 20:11-15). The dead who have been raised from their graves will then be judged as well as those who are still alive (Matthew 25:31-46). All these people will be raised up to life on that day and given a new body (1 Corinthians 15:51-55; 2 Corinthians 5:1-10; Revelation 21:4, 22:3). At that time all people will either experience eternal joy or eternal torment based upon their actions while they were alive.

We also need to understand that because we live in a physical world, spiritual truths are communicated through physical circumstances and events.

We also need to understand that because we live in a physical world, spiritual truths are communicated through physical circumstances and events. For example, when Christ came to earth as a human being and walked among us, his divinity was veiled by his humanity. He had to have food to eat and shelter from the elements. These things are true of all Christians today as well—if we want our spirits or souls to live on eternally (which is what really matters), they must be housed within a body made of flesh and blood like everyone else’s.

So if you want your soul or spirit to live forever in heaven after death—and if you don’t want your undead body chasing down others for their brains—then it’s imperative that you understand how God wants us all to act here on earth!

So when you hear Jesus say “Let the dead bury their own dead,” He’s referring to those who have not been born again spiritually. Those who are dead to God by choice. Those who have not heard or understood that they can become children of God and have eternal life!

And when Jesus says, “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you” (John 14:2), He is saying that there is life after death where we will live forever with Him!

But what if we die physically before we get saved? Is there hope for us then? Yes! There are many people being raised from the dead today because they were buried soon after dying in accidents or other tragedies—people like Joni Eareckson Tada, who has quadriplegia but continued living as an active Christian despite her disability.

The phrase “after three days” is symbolic and not literal time reference. In fact, if we were to understand this phrase as Jesus rising from the dead after 72 hours, then there wouldn’t be enough time for His body to decay after He had died on the stake/cross, thereby making it impossible for Him to physically rise again!

The Bible teaches that the body of Jesus was placed in a tomb by Joseph of Arimathea (John 19:38) on Friday afternoon and then was resurrected or “raised from the dead” on Sunday morning (Mark 16:9). If we take these two events literally (i.e., they happened at specific times), then we have some serious problems when it comes to understanding what happened with Jesus’ body during those 3 days between his death and resurrection…

What About When Jesus Raised People From The Dead?

The Bible says that Jesus’ resurrection is the first of many. After He was raised from the dead, many others are set to be raised from the dead as well. This is a big part of what makes Easter so important and exciting!

In fact, there’s even one point in Revelation where it specifically says: “I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God… They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.” (Revelation 20:4-6)

This passage tells us two things: First, Christ will return at some point in history; Second, when He does return, He’ll raise all those who’ve died before His Second Coming back to life again—including zombies!

When we read the Bible, we need to keep in mind that it is not just a book of history or science. It’s also a book of spiritual truths that are communicated through physical events and circumstances. So when Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead, he’s talking about people who have been spiritually dead for so long that they don’t even know what life is really about!
