The Lord is our help, our salvation! He will be our light, regardless of what we face (Psalm 27:1). We can trust in Him; He will not forsake us (Psalm 27:3-4). Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; but in all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). God gives strength to those who fear Him (Isaiah 40:29), and hope comes when we seek Him first (Jeremiah 29:11). In times of distress I have cried out to God for help; He hears my cry for mercy from His temple, my refuge from distress, my shield from trouble (Psalm 9:9-10).
He is the one who brings you out of darkness into light. He should be your only fear.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
If we take refuge in God, He will protect us and rescue us from all harm.
There is no fear of death for those who believe in God because the person who has faith in God never dies; instead, their soul goes on living forever with God.
God is with me; He will prevail against my enemies. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in manWhen we take refuge in God, He will protect us and rescue us from all harm. The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident (Psalm 27: 1-3 NIV).
God is our light and salvation. We should not fear the Lord. The Lord is your strength, refuge, defender, shield, protector and helper.
Because You are with me, I will never be shaken. You have given me strength to walk through the valley of the shadow of death; You have sustained me on my journey through it.
It’s a beautiful thing to believe in God and take refuge in Him. He is our father, our mother, our best friend. He is always there for us; we can always rely on his presence and strengthGod is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He will not let you be tested beyond your strength but with the testing he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13). The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When evildoers come against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes who would swallow me up—they will stumble and fall! Though an army encamp against me, my heart does not fear; though war break out against me, even then am I confident. One thing I ask from the LorYou have given me strength to walk through the valley of the shadow of death; You have sustained me on my journey through it. I will not fear for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flies by day. You are with me—your rod and your staff that give me comfortYou are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup overflows..d.
